HISTORY: This is a 37-year-old resident of Redwood Shores, California who presents to the San Francisco, California office for evaluation of gynecomastia. He has had his enlarged chest since approximately 15 years old and a significant weight loss from 300 to 170 pounds. His goal is to be able to take off his shirt in public. He is 6’2″ and weighs 200 pounds. He underwent gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He had 150 cc of fat extracted from each side and 42 grams of breast tissue removed from his right side and 40 grams of breast tissue removed from his right. His postoperative photographs were taken 2 months after surgery.
