Scheduling a Consultation
We offer our patients the option of a Skype or phone consultation with Dr. Delgado. If you live in San Jose, Santa Rosa, Napa, or Petaluma, you may find it easy enough to drive to our San Francisco or Novato office for your consultation; however, if you prefer not to make the drive more than once, you are welcome to consult via phone or Skype. To arrange a phone or Skype consultation, we request that you contact us with the following information:
- Your name
- Your age, weight, and height
- Photos of your chest from the front and profile
- Your phone number and the best times to reach you
We will then contact you to set up your remote consultation appointment. During your consultation, Dr. Delgado will evaluate your condition and discuss your surgical options.
After your consultation (whether by phone/Skype or in person), we will send you a detailed quotation for your gynecomastia surgery. If you choose to proceed, we will schedule a date for your surgery and mail you a comprehensive information packet that explains what you need to do prepare for surgery.
Assistance We Provide to Our Out-of-Town Patients
We usually ask our gynecomastia surgery patients to arrive one or two days before their surgery. We recommend that our patients stay at Novato Oaks Inn, which is located just a few miles away from our surgery center. There is a free shuttle for hotel guests that can take you to our office, the surgery center, and other local businesses during your recovery. We have arranged a special rate with the hotel, so please be sure to mention Dr. Delgado when you make your booking. During your stay, our team will be happy to provide recommendations on restaurants and attractions, and answer any questions you may have.
We ask that you remain in town for at least one week following your surgery. This allows for adequate time to recover before your trip home and provides easy access to Dr. Delgado for follow up appointments. After you return home, Dr. Delgado will continue to check in with you by phone, email, and/or Skype to track your recovery and ensure that a satisfactory result is achieved.
